I could, but I don't know what to do with it. I'll have a company Focus wagon diesel a week and a half from now, the Peugeot 406 coupe DD, the Peugeot 205 GTI weekend toy and the BMW E30 Touring as a project. That's more than enough already.

I do love the period details in this Polo though. Especially the paint + interior.

Lovers of weird/cool cars unite right? I'd really like to buy that car but I can't, hope it goes to someone who'll take care of it. I've got a '96 Fiesta and soon a '94 Saab 9000 CD, since I've only got one parking space outside my flat this is a problem :P

just out of curiosity, what is your take on a 205 CTi ragtop? I believe one of those would sneak in a container with a 505 Dangel wagon, a golf country for sure, or a w124

I'm not sure. The GTI is great, I'm not sure to what extent a CTI changes this. We have an Oppo member who had one , until he moved back to the US a few months ago. He now has a 205 GTI (in the US!), identical to mine. I am going to sell mine in a few months by the way (wink wink).

Here's his 205 GTI next to my 406 coupe and one of the 406 coupes from the seller of his 205.

I actually dont want a tin top. I need another convertible in my life, and they are so cheap compared to the hardtops. My girlfriend might be the first one to jump, and she has made it clear in the past week she wants a dangel 505 or a Golf country to replace her jeep, and has the cash. If she is going for the shipping I might hold off on my w124 wagon till later this year or next when I can grab a 91 with the nicer cloth interior, and bring in something convertible and funky like a CTi. I know that guy and maybe I will ask him

I've got the same sentiment. It's taking all of my self control. What's stopping you?

Too many cars, not enough room or time to love them. If I'm going to import something, it'll be a good Syncro Doka & I'll get in touch with you. This is so cheap though!
